Why we're building Gymbud

Fitness enthusiasts often struggle to find workout partners who share their interests and schedules. While there are some online communities for fitness enthusiasts, they are often limited to specific gyms or workout styles. Additionally, many fitness enthusiasts are looking for ways to save money on gym memberships and fitness classes.
The solution
In order to solve these problems, we are building Gymbud, a social network for fitness enthusiasts and adventurers. Gymbud will allow users to find workout partners who share the same interests, schedule and zeal for fitness and adventure. Users will be able to create profiles, search for other users in their area, and message each other. Users will also be able to create groups and events, and invite other users to join them.
The market
The fitness industry is also a highly fragmented market, with many different types of fitness enthusiasts. There are fitness enthusiasts who are looking for a workout partner to help them stay motivated, and there are fitness enthusiasts who are looking for a workout partner to help them stay accountable. Gymbud will be able to serve both types of fitness enthusiasts in the fitness market.
The MVP
The MVP will be a mobile app that allows users to create profiles, search for other users in their arae, and message each other. Users will also see fitness and activity locations near them and be able to get directions to them.
